Sunshine Home Health Services Opens Bergen County Office with Nancy Grasso at the Helm

Sunshine Home Health Services (, a CHAP accredited home care agency providing skilled nursing, home care and physical therapy services to patients in New Jersey and New York, expands to northeastern New Jersey with the opening of the Wyckoff office. In addition Nancy Grasso joins as Administrator of Sunshine’s New Jersey operations with the goal to increase Sunshine’s services throughout Bergen and Passaic Counties. “Sunshine Home Health Services has provided skilled nursing and non-medical home care services in New Jersey since 2011 out of an office in Union. Our expansion into Bergen County has been part of the company’s vision for some time,” said Sonu Abraham, Chief Operating Officer. “In addition to the company’s new site we are very pleased to announce that Nancy Grasso, a respected veteran in the home care industry, has joined Sunshine to lead the company’s New Jersey operations. She brings a depth of industry experience and leadership, which will help us continue to grow the services we offer and client base.” Grasso began her career in the health care industry in 1987 and has held senior management positions with several home care agencies including executive director at Van Dyk Health Care and vice president at Accredited Health Services. In addition her experience comprises the disciplines of human resources, marketing and operations. Grasso holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Health Care Management from Ramapo College. Sunshine Homecare Services was founded over a decade ago by Francis Clement, PhD, and Biju Francis, RN, BSN, with one location in Nanuet, NY, who recognized that compassionate, skilled and reliable home care services would make a positive difference in the lives of individuals who desired to remain independent despite health-related and physical limitations. Today Sunshine, with seven locations in New York, New Jersey and Illinois in the US and two locations in India, offers a robust array of health care services from skilled nurses, certified home health aides (CHHAs), Personal Care Aides (PCAs), and certified occupational and physical therapists. In New York the company has grown to diversify from home health care services to waiver services for the Nursing Home and Transition Diversion (NHTD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) programs and operates day care units for NHTD/TBI patients in the New City and Fishkill locations. Recently the company expanded operations in The Bronx, which is located in the Belmont neighborhood opposite St. Barnabas Hospital.
